A pool that is too deep for one activity can still work well for another. A submerged platform creates a raised standing surface inside the existing pool, helping you plan a dedicated teaching, exercise or supervised activity zone.

How depth reduction works
Raise the standing surface, not the water level.
The modules stand on the pool floor and provide a new surface closer to the waterline. The water depth above that surface is the existing pool depth minus the platform surface height.

The original pool shell remains below the platform. A custom arrangement can cover a small area, form an island or extend along a teaching lane without permanently infilling that part of the pool.

This is a budget indication based on an 11 m² rectangular platform measuring 5.5 × 2.0 m with a 300 mm platform height, removable connectors and anti-slip rubber feet, under comparable supply, delivery and installation conditions.
Every platform is custom quoted. The final rate per square metre changes with the required platform height, overall dimensions, pool geometry and floor slope, module arrangement, approved load capacity, access steps, handrails, side or bottom protection, coordinated openings around pool fittings, delivery conditions and installation scope.

Depth reducing platform FAQs
What is a depth reducing pool platform?
It is a raised, submerged standing surface installed inside a swimming pool. The platform sits above the original pool floor, reducing the water depth available to the user over the platform area.
Is it the same as a movable floor or a removable pool deck cover?
No. These are modular underwater platforms, not motorised vertically moving floors. They also differ from removable pool deck covers, which create a surface over the pool opening. The platform height and layout are specified for the intended in-water activity.
How much can the pool depth be reduced?
The required platform height depends on the existing water depth and the target standing depth. For example, a platform surface 0.60 m above a pool floor that is 1.50 m below the waterline leaves 0.90 m of water above the platform. This is a planning example, not a standard product specification.
Can the platform fit a curved pool or an existing ladder?
Custom layouts can be developed around curved walls, ladders, steps and other pool features. Accurate drawings and verification of the pool floor, clearances, circulation and access details are required before the layout is approved.
Can the platform be removed?
Modular sections can be separated using the specified removable connectors. The handling method, module weights, access route and storage space must be planned for the chosen installation. Removal is a managed operation, not automatic retraction.
What is the load capacity?
A reference working-load specification is up to 300 kg per square metre underwater, subject to the selected platform design and written project approval. The permitted load must be confirmed for the actual layout. It is not a dry-deck or event-floor load rating.
Which colours are available?
The colour range is Blue, Beige, Red, Yellow, Grey and Aqua. Confirm the selected colour and any contrasting edge or step details before production. On-screen colour swatches are indicative.
Can the platform be used for rehabilitation or aqua fitness?
Platforms can create standing areas for aquatic exercise and supervised rehabilitation sessions. The responsible instructor or clinician must determine the appropriate activity and water depth; the platform itself does not provide a treatment or a safety guarantee.
What warranty applies?
The quoted warranty is 2 years against defects, including colour discolouration under normal pool-water chemistry, subject to the written quotation and warranty terms. Misuse, impact and mechanical damage are excluded.
What information is needed for a quotation?
Send the project location, pool plan, existing depth profile, required water depth, approximate platform dimensions and site photographs. Include ladders, steps, outlets and other obstructions, together with the intended use and any requirements for edge protection, stairs or storage. Pricing and lead time are confirmed for the project.
